i have just returned from an enjoyable stay in this family-friendly hotel, neat and well-designed rooms. there is an average restaurant with wonderful staff.

Views are dreadful.

Decent prices here. the breakfast is quite nice and served hot with some delicious treats, although they do seem to run out of food quickly. 🍳

My stay at Hodson Bay Hotel was amazing. the stunning location by the lake shore was perfect. - the service was on point and great value. - the conservatory was a lovely addition to the overall experience.

We recently stayed at Hodson Bay in Athlone for a family trip. The hotel was massive and offered breathtaking views of the river. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, and the breakfast menu had a wide variety of options to cater to everyone's tastes. We were pleasantly surprised to find that guests have free access to the top of the quay, which is like a nature reserve. It was a lovely experience walking there and spotting wildlife. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially towards our little girls. we had a fantastic stay and greatly appreciated the hotel's facilities and service.

During my recent business trip, I stayed at a hotel in Athlone for two nights. The first thing I loved about the hotel was the option of free wine tasting and a complimentary aqua aerobics class. It was a great way to unwind after a long day of meetings. The second thing I appreciated was the excellent quality of the food. From the delicious dinner in the restaurant to the delightful afternoon tea and satisfying breakfast, every meal was a treat for my taste buds. Additionally, the staff members were polite, helpful, and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.

There were a couple of aspects that could be improved. the room I was initially allocated had a poor view of a rooftop littered with cigarette butts.

The location was great, and you could easily walk to many different parts of the area, such as the lake.

We had a lovely stay at Hodson Bay. The hotel overlooks the lough and provides a great setting. The bar food in the evening was excellent, and there were plenty of breakfast choices for both hot and cold options. The staff, especially Connor, the Duty Manager, were attentive, engaging. The location was convenient and close to activities. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb, and we highly recommend it.

The facilities at the hotel were fantastic, with a great pool and bar area. It's a very kid-friendly place, perfect for families. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.

The value for money at this hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom and great amenities. The location was excellent, especially for taking the boat into town, and the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming throughout the entire hotel.

The breakfast option could have been improved with better organization to prevent food from running out and long queues for certain items.
